Zhang Xuan was known for the Court Ladies Preparing Newly-Woven Silk, of which no copy survives except a copy painted by Emperor Huizong of Song. This copy is now kept in Museum of Fine Art in Boston. Zhang Xuan's another famous works is the Painting of Lady of State Guo's Spring Tour. 张萱绘《捣练图》原本已散佚，宋徽宗绘摹本现藏于波士顿美术馆。张萱另一名作为《虢国夫人游春图》。
